6. Service Engagement Responsibilities

If you engage our cleaning services, you are responsible for:

• 6.2 Ensuring appropriate access to your premises for our staff
• 6.3 Maintaining a safe work environment for our cleaning personnel
• 6.4 Promptly notifying us of any changes to access requirements or security protocols
• 6.5 Securing valuables and sensitive documents according to your organization's policies

7. Data Protection Responsibilities

You acknowledge that you are responsible for complying with data protection laws regarding any personal data you provide to us. You warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents for us to process such data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• 9.5 These limitations apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages

10. Consequential Damages Exclusion

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for any delay or failure in performance due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events. During such events, affected obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure condition.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to these Terms.

13. Jurisdiction and Venue

You irrevocably agree that the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation. You waive any objection to proceedings in such courts on the grounds of venue or on the grounds that proceedings have been brought in an inconvenient forum.

14. Dispute Resolution Process

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through the following process:

• 14.1 Provide written notice of the dispute to the other party, including details of the claim and proposed resolution
• 14.2 Engage in good faith negotiations for a period of 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute
• 14.3 If negotiations fail, either party may proceed with formal legal action in accordance with these Terms

15. Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that you will not bring or participate in any class or representative action against us. You agree to bring claims against us only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision shall be modified to reflect the parties' intention or severed from these Terms to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Waiver

No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision. Our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

18. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section shall be null and void.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms of Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Veritas Shine regarding your use of our website and services and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.

20. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:
